The Golf Alltrack is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ! I wonder how much it-
Oh. I suppose it’s no wonder that the boastful paragraph about all-wheel drive and ground clearance ends with “All for a surprising price”. Only available with an automagic, only two packages for better headlights and driver assistance stuff. So it comes fairly loaded, but still, seems like a not-so-great deal if people don’t want leather, navigation, et cetera.
EDIT: Hey, guess what? You can get a regular Golf Sportwagen with all-wheel drive for $26k (at the cheapest)! That’s actually relatively reasonable! Now I’m less mad.

So what does a Subaru XV cross trek cost in Canada? About the same? Seems like a similar car.

Crosstrek is smaller and starts at about $25k. The Outback starts at about $28k, and is also available with a stick if you care about that.

So pretty much the same pricing as south of the border. I have a 2013 Outback 2.5i with a stick it was $26,500 out the door in 2012. They have stopped selling the stick in the states now, I think 2014 was the last year they offered the stick.

Interesting. You can still get the Legacy, Outback, and Forester with a stick here. On the lowest trims, granted, but still available.
